Rice bran

We purchased a new rice cooker very recently.

We had been eating unpolished brown rice up until then but we found that our son didn't like it very much.
He loves polished rice with pearlish luster... Yes, I admit that polished rice smells great and tastes great...but from a nutritional perspective, we dare to stick to unpolished brown rice.

But we came across an article saying that 10-20% polished rice has the same amount of nutrition as the unpolished one. My husband purchased a brand new rice polisher machine soon after we read this article.

One week has passed since the purchase....we LOVE this one!

First of all, my son started eating a lot compared to before!  It's very easy to use, light weight and good designed! Also, among many good things, my most favorite aspect is that I can get very fresh rice bran!

You can use this very fresh rice bran to bake bread! I forgot taking pictures but I actually made some bread with the rice bran - it tasted good!
I made Teriyaki chicken hamburger with the bread:) My hubby loved it!

Rice bran can also be used for your daily skin care routine. You can make rice bran mask just by adding flour and water. You can also make your own Nukabukuro - rice bran massage bag and use it when taking a bath every day.  It makes your skin smooth and clear! !
